Hi,

If I use "Extended Transport Control" to transport requests automatically from DEV system to QA system, where to check the transport logs except tcode SE01/SE09?

Thanks.

Hello There.

I would like to suggest my opinion,

The Transaction related to "Extended Transport Control" is STMS.

Go To Job Monitor button or press "Ctrl+F2".

GoTo ---> Log or Press F5.

Hope this solves your problem.

Good Luck & Regards.

Hi Harsh Dave,

Thanks. Current problem is, I can not find any transport request list there, what's the problem? In fact, the request transport has been finished.

Kindly please advise again.

Thanks.

Hello There.

There is a slight modification, but now its exact.

Follow these steps.

1. Go To Transaction STMS.

2. Click on Import Overview (F5).

3. Double Click on your system on which your are working.

4. Double Click on the requests displayed in list.

5. Click on the Transport Logs Button or CtrlShiftF2.

6. Click on the Left side display icons of the status of list display.

And There you go with the LOG DISPLAY

Also, You can collapse the log (view more details embedded) using the collapse button on the left of the log display.

Hope this works out well.

Good Luck & Regards.

Hi Harsh Dave,

Thanks a lot. The step you advised should be the normal case. The problem is, I could not find any request in the list (it's empty), but the fact is, the customizings are actually transported into the target system, what's the reason?

Kindly please advise again.

Thanks.

Hello There.

I can suggest you a solution to check what was the situation of your request at that time.

This is to do with the Export History of your system.

If you have already verified it then its good or else follow these small steps.

1. As suggested to you in my last post about Transaction STMS, go to it.

2. Click on Import Overview.

3. Select the system your currently working.

4. GoTo History.

5. Click on Export History.

It will provide the history of all the request exports made to the target system by your system at that specified time interval.

If you still can't locate the cause or the problem, you can give feedback.

Good Luck & Regards.
