Dear All;
I have two workbench TRs on a development server which were released successfully to the qulaity system.
When I go to import them on the quality system in STMS i do not find them listed.
I know that workbench TR created two files: data file, and co file, but when I go to trans to search for them I do not find them.
I am sure that my TRs are not local.
In STMS I went to add them from --> other request --> Add and provided my TRs but it gave them error Transport control program tp ended with error code 0247
I checked what does this error code mean and it means that co file, and data file were not created and they needed for the import process.
I went to SE09 to check the type of the TRs and they are workbench requests
Can any one tell me how a workbench request could not have a co file, and a data file.
Best Regards

Hi Amal,
If cofiles and data files are not generated in the trans directory, this usually happens due to incorrect target system/client in the transport route. Check whether transport route is defined correctly in STMS.
In short release TR by specifying target system and client.

Hi Amal,
I would manually copy the Co and Data files at OS level, i.e. from Dev ...\trans\data + co to QA..\trans\data + co, then add the transport manually to the Que in QA.
If this works then your files are OK. This will indicate if there is a problem with transport routes / RFC etc. I would personally eliminate this first before making changes.
Also, from your picture, there is no timestamp against the Transport, it may just be our system configuration but when a transport is Released there is a Timestamp...
Hope you resolve your issue!
Andy

Hi Amal Aloun,
Kindly check if you have maintained correct target system/group in the created TR.
I had faced similar situation and got it fixed by providing correct target system.

Hi Aman,
1When you release the modifiable requests in SE09 the transports then tries to create the files at OS level so please make sure it is released!
Datafile: /usr/sap/trans/data file is created for data as RXXXXXX.<SID> which is development system sid usually.
Cofile: /usr/sap/trans/cofile is created as KXXXXXX.<SID>
Cofiles is usually very small in comparison to date please check the user permission on the files directly at first if that is correct please verify operating systems permisson on /usr/sap/trans/data and /usr/sap/trans/cofiles
If you do not have access your basis team can and should assist with this.
Kind Regards,
Johan
