Total Value in Bar Chart when using Variance Previous Year

Hello everybody,

I am not sure since when we have this issue.

We have a bar chart where we show the turnover for each year. But when I use the Variance option in this ordinary bar chart (current year vs. previous year) we get a additional bar of the total sum.

Does anybody know why this happens and how we can disable this sum bar?

Maybe you have enabled 'Include parent levels' option?

Thank you for your respond.

We have a BW Live Connection, so I don't have the possibilty of "include Parent Levels".

Anyway, we have determined if we use the classic design experience mode of a story, we have the issue which I have mentioned above. If we use the optimized design experience everything is fine and the bar doesn't appear.
