Too many values in a variable

Hi,

I have this problem with BEx variables. I need to create a variable so my users can enter their values as filter, the problem is that they have 300 - 5000 individual data. Is there a way so users can load a txt file with the filter values???

Bhanu,

when the variable screen appears there is no yellow button, only a little face inside a screen. When I clic on this face, a little windows with three buttons pops up: "Personalize variable value", "Load Personalized values" and "Undo Personalization". I clicked on "Load..", but the system does nothing.

What the variable configuration should be?? multiples values?? range??

Please try with a Selection Option variable.

Hi Mauricio,

This is possible is you are running the report in the BEx Analyzer. In the variable screen, click on the button with the yellow arrow (to the right of the variable). In the dialog box you will see a button at the bottom (third from right) to Import from file.
