Hie Guys,
I was just wondering if the data in test server is always the same as the data in Prod server? Are there any differences between the two in terms of data/functionality when it comes to Web Intelligence? I've noticed that you cannot edit a query in Prod. Thanks.

If your backend is different for test and production, data might be different unless you have any synch mechanism in place. Normally we can copy some(not full) data from production to test database to test the reports developed before we go live.

One Webi can be connected to either test database or production database.
I've noticed that you cannot edit a query in Prod.
This entirely depends on the access that has been granted to the user in both BO environments separately.

Hi Jeevan,
Additionally,
You can check which Database Server each of your BO server is pointing to. For each environment you can check the connection detail your Universe is using.
Please check whether both BO Test and BO Production are pointing to Same Database. If it is, you would get same data in your WebI report.
In most cases, the BO Test Server should connect to your Test Database Server.
And BO Production should connect to Production Database.

Krishnendu.
