I would like to know if we need to complete all the excercise scenarios from the TBIT-44 just from the XI development certification point of view.

Hi Sunil,
There will not be any direct questions on TBIT44 excercises. But there will be few scenario based questions and these excercises will definately help you answer those questions...

In fact, you do not need to do any of the excercises and get certified. The excercises are there for you to practice to learn XI.
