Hi,

I am preparing a technical document and would like to know all the fields in the extractor, length and description and the source field names in ECC.

Not themapping betwen IOBJ and datasource fields. I want the source table field names and the extractor field names mapping and their field lengths, I am unable to find the same in SDN and in google.I could find the table's for mapping between IOBJ and Datasource fields. I dont want that, I want the mapping between source field names in ECC and the respective field name in the extractor. Is there any Standard table either in ECC/ BI which can provide the same. Can I export the data from the table to excel ? Please suggest.

Thank You,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

The extract structure have the same fields which are from base tables of data source. Thru data source you will get base table name. from base tables you will get required  technical(length and type) details of fields.

Hope you got it.

Thanks

Hi Raman,

I know how to see the fields in the extract structure and fields in the source table. We can find that out in RSA2 field structure and in se11 ecc table's. But is there any standard tbale where there will be a mapping between the extract structure fields and source table fields. For example we have all the listed fields in infocube in RSDCUBEIOBJ ...correct ? I am looking for that kind of standard table.

Hope its clear.

Thank You,

Hi Daniel,

This kind of information is availabe by consulting your datasource in the source system.

Have a look on the Exctract sutructure of your datasource.

Hope it helps.

Hi Amine,

Thanks for the update. I know to that we can see the field's in RSA2 in the source system. But I tried to export it to file through LIST option and could nt do it. Is there any standard table where we can see the mapping between the extract structure fields and source system fields.

Like RSDCUBEIOBJ where it has mapping between INFOCUBE & IOBJ fields, similar to that. If I open this table and provide the IC name, I can export the fields to excel from the menu option or on the top button (export to excel ) option. Hope I am clear what I am looking.

Thanks,

DR
