Sybase IQ upgradation Error

Hi Team,

we are unable to upgrade sybase IQ database server to 16.1 sp04.03 to sp05.pl15, getting below license related error please advise.

i just kept back back and came back because i am not sure what is the result

Per confirmation from the development team, the hardware has changed as a result of your Sybase IQ version upgrade, which requires a new license key to be generated.

Below is the feedback from the development team:

upgrading often means that the customer also made changes to the hardware. As the license keys are locked to the hardware, they would need to generate new keys to match the new Host ID/Name details.

Also, customer may best review the license key processes. 

Therefore, please enter the new Host ID to generate your new Sybase license key. Kindly refer to the KBAs listed below for detailed steps.

1. Refer to KBA 2639679 - How to Check In Sybase license keys - SAP for Me to delete the old key under system C45

2. Refer to KBA 2628620 - How to create Sybase IQ license keys - SAP for Me to input correct host name to generate the new key.

3. Refer to KBA 2440914 - How to create correct license key for SAP IQ server installed on a VM to install the new key.
