Sybase DB export import

Dear Team,

we are new to Sybase, 

i am doing QAS refresh using DB export and import method, while doing export i am struck one phase, please suggest to which option i need to select from below screen shot.

1) split STR files

2)start migration monitor manually

and we are exporting the sybase with out stooping the application, because client not agree to stop the application (PRD) for that we are locked the all user's &suspend the background jobs in prd, kindly suggest is it fine or it's mandatory to stop application instance.

You can get the System Copy guide from SAP Marketplace:

http://service.sap.com/sltoolset -> Software Logistics Toolset 1.0-> Documentation -> got to Documentation/Guides section and you will find the documentation System Copy: Systems Based on SAP NetWeaver 7.1 and Higher.

The two options above in your screenshot are optional, you can find details in the doc, and regarding your second question, doc states:

Caution: Make sure that you shut down all SAP application servers before the export. The database must still be running. Otherwise, the target system might be inconsistent.
