Sybase- ct_connect() error

Hi,

I have Sybase ASE installed in my remote machine. When I try using isql, it shows below error message. CT-LIBRARY error:ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Protocol driver call to parse connection information failed.

Could anyone help on this?
