Switching Anonymous Users Ajax Framework

Hi

We are currently using a custom framework exposed to anonymous users in the portal.

When we change the website language  we are using guest_user parameter together with logout_submit= true to do the switch.

Well the Portal itself switchs from guest to guest_fr, but the navigation nodes remain the first user ones!

How can i solve this problem?

thank you for any help

Hi Filipe,

OK to start with what version of the portal are you running? Is it AJAX framework on 7.0x or 7.3 portal system?

Secondly... so the user switches OK, but the navigation doesn't refresh, is that what you mean? What happens if you refresh the browser after the switch? Does the navigation refresh then? If you start with guest_fr and then switch to guest do you get the same result?

Also it might be worth giving some context on what your ultimate goal is, since someone might have another way to achieve your goal... is it that you want to provide anonymous access to your site in multiple languages?

With a bit more info, perhaps the community can put their thinking caps on and help you out.

Thanks,

Simon

Hi Simon

We are using SAP Portal 7.30 SP 7

If we refresh the browser after the switch the navigation remains the same.

when we start with another user and switch to a different one, the nodes always remain the same as the first user.

The ultimate goal is to expose a custom ajax framework to anonymous users in order to display a WPC Website. We need to switch the user because the website changes according to the language the user enters the site ( eg guest_Fr has access to Portal Role Website_FR connected to top level area WebsiteFR).

Thanks for any suggestion
