Hi,

There is Netweaver forum where you can ask this question and you may get lot of help and link to materials.

You also go to following SAP site to see the courses they offer.

BusinessObjects portfolio contains a wide range of tools that covers a wide spectrum of different skillset... from report/dashboard development to system administration to database development (e.g. ETL) to SDK programming.

For newbies, Web Intelligence report development is probably the easiest place to start. You can take either the online training or instructor-led training class. You can find more information on this web site:

http://www.sap.com/services/education/catalog/businessobjectstraining/index.epx

But of course, you can take all the training classes you want and create all the "hello world" reports on your own, but nothing beats the "real world" On-The-Job training, which is the best way to learn anything. If your existing employer has a department that uses BusinessObjects, you might want to ask for transferring to that department in order to learn BusinessObjects. If they don't, you might need to search for other companies if you really want to learn BusinessObjects.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Business Objects has several different areas but it's mainly for reporting off databases whether in reports or dashboards etc.

I'd suggest to first learn the enterprise server component as it ties in to all the other areas. Start with this document (there are more at help.sap.com.

Good luck!
