SQL Service Pack Upgrade

Hello Team,

I am aware of that we should be updated with the latest Patch in SQL Server. But I have not found anywhere whether we can upgrade directly

Source	Target
SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 9.00.3042 SQL Server 2005 SP2	SQL Server 2005 SP 4 9.00.5292 SQL Server 2005 SP4 + Q2494123

Do you think there is any pre-requisite to check.. Any Note which says, yes it is possible.?

I have seen this Snote in the start of the question, it is itself not saying whether we can upgrade to SQL 2005 SP2 to SQL 2005 SP4. Also what are the pre-requisite for this..

Service packs can be updated directly. Refer below SAP note for pre-requisites and steps for applying the updates.
