Hi,

I am installing BOE 4.0 over win 2008 server.

I have postgres SQL as my database. When installation process starts and asks me to specify CMS database from the list of the database connections I fail to specify on which i should be using to point to Postgres DB.

ODBC connection have been set and connections was tested successfully.

So can anyone please advise on how to go about on this and try to specify postgres as CMS dB. The BO 4.0 installation guide just fails to explain any of such stuff.

please advise,

regards

HI,

I was hoping anyone would post a comment but none..

Well I had installed mysql on the box and then was able to run default queries and create and drop tables etc.

But after specifying the mySql credentials during install procedures BO doesnt accept the settings :

name - MySQL

server - localhost

port - 3306(default port)

username - mysql

password - password

error which comes up is :- No data supplied for parameters in prepared statement

tried to look up the error and did start the mysql but in vain....

Can anyone please advise on what needs to be done at this end?

regards
