SP Equivalent version between 7.3 & 7.31

Hello colleagues,

I am trying to find out which SP version is equivalent in 7.3 and 7.31.

we have a system which is 7.31 SP4 and some notes i want to implement says this is included from 7.3 SP8.

So all i am trying to find out is whether 7.3 SP8 is equivalent to 7.31 SP4?

Please help me where i can find this information.

There is no direct co-relation, and to answer your question 7.31 SPS4 is not equal to 7.3 SPS8. So the note should tell you, if applicable to 7.31 SPS5 or SPS6.

7.31 SPS4 was released on June 29th 2012, currently you can apply 7.31 SPS6 released on Jan 25th 2013 to your system.

7.3 SPS8 has been out since Oct 2nd 2012 and SPS9 was just released on March 21st 2013.

Thanks Rajiv. I am aware of the SP Releases But i thought there must be a SP equivalence. I must have  misread. Thanks for correcting me.

As a follow up to my answer these would be the equivalent levels. But it does not mean that a note for BW 7.3 SP8 can be directly applied in a BW 7.31 SP4 system in your case.

Please find below the current recommendable releases, in general choose the latest one for the best stability & performance:

SAP NetWeaver BW 7.30 SP8 or 7.31 SP5

SAP NetWeaver BW 7.30 SP9 or 7.31 SP6

My BW SP level is 7.31 SP4. The note i am trying to apply is 1680520. The note has corrections to SP4 of 731 and SP5 of 731. We are already on SP4.
