Source System Creation Issue in RSA1

Dear Experts,

I am in a mess now and need your help.

When I am trying to create a source system in RSA1 after refresh of the BW system. Now, when I try to create the source systems after providing all the passwords and RFCs in the last step I get the following error:

Error in source system SCQCLNT001

Message no. RSAR502

Diagnosis

With Remote Function Call to system SCQCLNT001 error   ccurred.

Procedure

Remove the cause of the error.

I have searched the SCN and read so many threads but to no avail. Most important of them are:

• The SCC4 and SE06 settings are "OPEN" as per recommendations in both the systems. (tried)
• The remote user has been specified in global settings of RSA1. (Done)
• The RFCs are working fine to and fro.

Kindly advise on this weird issue.

Hi

T code RSA1, select the source system(SCQCLNT001), right click of mouse, select the 'restore' then it will ask you  to type the user id and password source & bi system, finally it will ask to replicate the source system.Try this I thing you issue will resolved

Hi Sriram,

Thanks for the response.

Been there, done that. The issue was there in restore as well. Hence, with fm RSAP_BIW_DISCONNECT deleted the connection and now not able to create. This has worked for me many a times, but this time its taking a toll.

Issue is somewhere else.

The Note 184586 is the Solution!!!!!!

I don't know how I missed this.
