Solution manager release

Hi people,

I want to know if I can install the solution manager 4.0, now known as 7.0, on a machine with a 2003 32-bit operating system. I have read by whether there would be possible depending on the release in which we are.

Hi,

Solution manager 4.0 SR4 is know as Solution Manager 7.0. It has released in the month of march 2008.

The difference between Solution Manager 4.0 SR3 and Solution Manger 7.0 is Support pack release.

Solution manager 7.0 is with the leaset release of Support Pack.

you can install solman 4.0 on win 2003 32 bit. you can find more info in installation guide.

Ok, but In which stack level o SRelease the SM 4.0 becomes to SM 7.0?¿?

Hello,

The renaming of SAP Solution Manager 4.0 to SAP Solution Manager 7.0 is a name change only, therefore the SAP Solution Manager functionality, release schedule, installations, or other technical aspects of SAP Solution Manager will not be affected.
