Hi all,
in our Solution Manager 7.2 (SP 11), we are facing the issue, that closing a phase cycle (SMIM) is taking so long (longer than 30 minutes) that my WebUI session runs into a timeout.
So I am currently not able to close cycles.
Is there any report available, for closing a phase cycle in background (maybe as a scheduled job)? I searched for it, but can't find anything.

Request clarification before answering.
Hi Eva,
you could try and use transaction SA38/SE38 to execute program CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT with the ID of your cycle as "Transaction No." and "SMIM" as "Transaction Type".
Set "Status Update for Change Transactions" to "Set Next Status Value" and remove the checkbox from "List Output Only (No Update)".

These settings can also be stored in a variant which allows to schedule the execution.

The error may be a generic message text. But looks like there are some issues with the cycle (Might be some CDs not completed, which is failing some technical checks for the cycle to be closed).
