Need Solution for Auto PR Email Notification in S/4HANA

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement in SAP S/4HANA GUI (On-Prem) and need the best  solution.

Purchase Requisitions are created automatically through a background MRP run (MD01N using program "PPH_MRP_START"). After the PR is generated, the system should automatically send an email notification to the business users based on business criteria and plant-specific recipient maintenance.

I need the recommended SAP  approach for implementing this without modifying the standard MRP program.

Could you please suggest:

- The correct enhancement point (BAdI, User Exit, Workflow, or Enhancement Spot).

- The best implementation approach.

- Whether it works for background-created PRs.

- If possible, a sample implementation or code example.
