Solution documentation : Can we trigger email notification Based on document status

We want to enable email notification when a document is sent for review. Based on document status we want to trigger an email notificaiton for the corresponding person to take action on that document in solution documentation.

We are in Solman 7.2.

email notifications for Solution documentation is not part of standard SAP.

You need to check if any API can be enhanced but it would be purely custom development.
