SOLDOC - Multiple users creating documents for the same node?

Hello,

Solution Documentation restricts the number of users who can edit the same Assignment table (ie. Process level), meaning that end users lock each other when they want to add individual documents for the same scenario/process/etc. at the same time.

I believe the lock feature is "by design" (Lock Concept), same as for any other SAP program. However I was wondering if anyone knew a workaround that would allow end users to create documents/test cases (from template) at the same node level, at the same time, without locking each other.

We have noticed the same problem!

We have 10 business expert working on the creation of process/process step, and we have a lot of conflit with the windows "Create new process step". We sometime have "locked by user XXX" or "unexpected error" ...

Hi Alexandre,
I think you found a bug. We need to check this. When you create a second document at a structure node the parent structure node is locked and stays locked after the document has been created. So nobody else can create a document at this node. We need to check this.
