SM13 error

Hi Experts,

In our production system i see errors in SM13 everyday.

i can't reprocess these errors. I'm getting "Not all the update records could be started" message.

In Status column it's "V2 Processed" and it's green.

On the N column stop sign is there and the tool tip says "Restart not possible"

On the I column tool tip is "Synchronous Update"

Almost always Transaction code is VL02N with this problem.

How do i over come this problem???

check out the tables which are having update errors.

Then check with your functional team and abaper with these errors.

If there is problem with coding there can be update errors

you should have a chat with your functional team. Most SM13 errors are caused by configuration issues and they should fix it on their own.

You have to investigate what is the problem with VL02N.

Check SM21, do some SQL traces or abap traces, talk to the VL02N users, etc...
