Hi,

My Client is going for restructuring and they shall be using the SAP SLO for it. I need to know as a BW Consultant what responsibilites

one shall be having In a SLO process.Please send dcouments available on SLO.

Hi Venkat,

SAP R/3 landscape generally can be viewed as the path of transports.

It depends on the company how many systems they want to keep from Development/sandbox to Production server.

For example the landscape is

Sandbox -> Development -> QA -> prod

R/3 System Landscape -> It is the architecture of servers

R/3 have three types of landscapes..

1.Development -> Consultants customize according to customers requirements.

2.Quality -> Team who test customization.

3.Production -> Place where live data of company is recorded.

SLO does not exist for BW.You'll have to do the consolidation of BW on your own. The typical impact will be on master data. you have also to check when we do a reload after the SLO-changes, & the historic data impact's according to the SLO-changes.So : mainly master data, old data and deltas.

Maybe not exactly a recent reply to this old thread, but I need to clarify: SLO exists for BW, and has existed already since years for that.

The above statemt is (sorry to say) plain wrong.

Sounds good. However I have not been able to find any documentation on the matter.
