Selecting columns in a UI5 table?

I am looking for a functionality similar to ABAP ALV tables where a user can select multiple columns and do Ctrl+C to copy the data to the clipboard. Does UI5 provide anything related to that? I am aware that sap.ui.table provides many features like sorting, filtering but selection of columns is really what I am after.
