Scripts in input controls do not take effect in mobile devices (SAP Analytics Cloud)

Hi Experts, 

I have some scripts in input controls to dynamically adjust the decimal places of charts and tables in the story. These scripts work well on desktop, but are ineffective on mobile devices. (It seems that all of the input controls are converted to something like story filters on mobile devices...) 

Is this the expected behavior? Are there any workarounds to resolve it?

Any tips or insights would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Yes, this is expected behavior in SAC. On mobile, input controls are handled more like story filters, so scripts tied to them don’t always execute the same way as on desktop. One workaround is to move the logic into story-level or widget-level scripts that aren’t dependent on input controls. I usually document these platform differences in Phonexa so it’s easier to explain limitations and workarounds to stakeholders later on.
