SAPUI5 Web IDE Push Notifications

Hello everyone

I'm currently extending a standard SAPUI5 app and I want it to send a push notification to the user when the status of one item in the app changes. On my research I only found this video that shows similar push notifications https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ih0Kw9tK-7o. This should also work on the safari browser of an iphone.

Do you know any technology or extension to the SAP Web IDE that I could use? It would be great if you could also post a tutorial or blog that explains how to set up the push notifications in detail.

Regarding the question, there was an app called SAP Fiori Client at the time. I think it was able to do that. However, this has been discontinued. You won't be able to do it via the browser, at least on iOS, see: https://whatwebcando.today

There is also a new app called SAP mobile start.
