SAPUI5 rendering issue on Android-based barcode scanner devices

Hi,

I am trying to use an Android-based barcode scanner from Zebra, the TC26 model, to run Fiori store applications. I am using the Enterprise Browser from Zebra.

This option was chosen since SAP has decided to end support for the Custom Fiori client and the other browsers can only use the device camera and not the laser scanners on the device.

I noticed an issue when using form dialogs on the TC26. The screen gets a blank area if the virtual keyboard is closed after entering the text in the input field. The space occupied by the keyboard is blank and not reclaimed. This seems to be a rendering issue because when other pop-ups are opened or the user cancels the dialog, the screen behaves normally. And this does not happen on Google Chrome Mobile browser.

the app in question is a standard SAP Fiori app. Transfer Stock.

An incident was already raised but SAP said the Enterprise Browser is not a supported browser.

Any hints are much appreciated.

After some back and forth, we identified that the issue is not reproducible after updating our UI5 version to 1.96.x.

Hope this helps anyone else facing similar issues.

What version of Zebra EB are you using?
