SAP Table which store data source and its tables

Dear SDNers,

Can you please tell me the Table which stores data source tech name and its corresponding tables.If possible please tell me the back end Tables for ex: Transformation in BI (Mappings) .

Hi Swathi..

Frankly, speaking I don't think there is any such table where you can get such details....

For LO datasources you can check in LBWE.....Maintain......there you can see the table names...

For FI datasources you can check the below link...

For others....you can try to trace it........

First on the Trace in ST05....then execute the datasource in RSA3....of the trace....and check the Trace.....you will get the details...

Thanks But these Tables are giving information about the strruct it is holding. I need Tables for that Data Source. Ex. 0FI_GL_4 How do we get the tables. (BSEG/BKPF) like for all the standard data sources how do we know? pls tell me.

Hi Swathi,

If you are looking for the tables for Standard Extractors/DS's, then goto the below link & search for you DS (for ex 0FI_GL_4) --> you will get all the list of object where ths DS has been used. Click on DS & you will get the details of it.

Hi Dear,

Please go to R/3 System

-->T-Code SE16 or SE11 or SE16n

Table name which store tables of each data source is ROOSOURCE or ROOSGEN.

Enter Source System name and Data source name.
