Hi all, in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, after uploading an Event Log and an Activity Log, I am unfortunately not able to filter on Case Attributes. According to the documentation, this should be possible. Has anyone an explanation to this or encountered the same problem?

I saw that there is an issue created but I cannot access the information here: https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/3273033

Solved by: when uploading the data, click on data properties (highlighted in blue) and select attributes instead of events

Hello Thanos,

Thanks for sharing your question in the community. I personally wasn't able to reproduce your issue in my analysis.

We suggest creating a ticket via https://me.sap.com/ for any support- and issue-related topics. Also, I'd advise to ensure that your case attributes are actually also being encorporated as case attributes.

Best,
Fabian

Hi,

the KBA only covers the current limitation via the ui that event attributes can only be filtered via signal, but do not relate to case attributes. Can you describe your issue further? An example of your case attribute and the steps you conduct may help.

Apart from this, via SAP4Me specific incident tickets can be opened for more time critical issues.

best

Manuel

Hi @manuelmeindl22 and @FabianPrice , thanks for your quick response!

This is what I like to figure out, if I am facing an incident or if the problem sits in front of the screen (me...).

Here are the steps I conducted:
1) Create a new process
2) In the settings, upload an event log with the following columns (example row added)

CASE_IDACTIVITYTIMESTAMP
2982211Status One06.01.2024 00:24

3) Upload an activity log (hit the checkmark to specifiy, that this is not an event log)

CASE_IDagreementnumberWORKFLOWSTATUS
298221112345ABCDEF

4) Create an investigation

5) Try to add a filter on for example "agreementnumber" in the UI, but the filter type for case attributes do not appear.

Is there something to tell the system further, that these columns should be the case attribute filter types?
