SAP R3 DBACOCKPIT Problem...

Hi everyone...

We r using SAP R3 702 with oracle..

When I try very basic sql statement in DBACOCKPIT or ST04 (select * from mara) I get two erorrs..

1-ORA-01756: quoted string not properly terminated

2-Insufficient privilege to access specified tables (but I ve got Sap_all and all sql editör object correct)

Can U help me ?

For the other access issue, let us see whether it still occurs after ORA-01756 solved.
There are plenty notes talking about the access issue, please double verify them about roles, and permission.

Hi, the errors you mentioned are caused by the fact that the SAP Basis Support Package Level is low and the DBAOCKCPIT is not prepared for a full use. The SAP notes mentioned by James are very useful and addressing this issue.
