Hey All! Since there is no free tier anymore to follow SAP Process Automation Tutorial, i asked IT guys from my company to give me the access to use SAP Process Automation into BTP but they asked me which kind of user i will use it and i don´t know. The types are:
  • Standard User
  • Advanced User
  • Unattended
  • Attended

Which one could i use to follow the tutorials please?

Hi Mauricio,

The details of the user types can be found in the documentation here: https://help.sap.com/docs/PROCESS_AUTOMATION/a331c4ef0a9d48a89c779fd449c022e7/089a5d6f47b344e8b37046...

Essentially:

  • Standard User is a process participant. (They can participate in the workflow/automation - like an end user).
  • Advanced User is a Citizen Developer or an IT Administrator (can create and manage the workflow/automation)
  • Automation Unattended is someone who can add unattended bots to your subaccount. Used for both creating and running an unattended automation.
  • Automation Attended is someone who can add attended bots to your subaccount. Used for both creating and running an attended automation.

Depending on what tutorials you are trying out - you may well need all of these user types.

Hope this helps,
--Greg
