Hello Prashant,

From the SAP perspective, the recommendation is to go for the latest SAPEXE + SAPEXEDB kernel patches, to ensure that you have the fixes for all known issues.

You could also follow Mamta's suggestion, of course.

In the end, this is really each customer's choice :-).

Hello Prashant

Good practice to upgrade a kernel or any other SAP component is to go for Latest -1 ,so you will have a option to fall forward in case you encounter the issues after kernel upgrade. Also for good housekeeping it is advisable that as much as possible , apply same kernel patch to all the systems in you environment as long as they are supported eg you can apply same kernel 753 Patch to all NW 740 and 750 systems in your landscape and so on.
