SAP IRPA - Subscription Vs Instance

We have been using SAP IRPA with a paid subscription. So far, we have not created a space under the dedicated subaccount, neither have we created an IRPA instance. SAP documentation suggests that to access SAP IRPA APIs, a service key needs to be created, and for doing so, the documentation points to creating an IRPA instance in a space.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me understand following questions:

1. What are the differences between a subscription and an instance of SAP IRPA?

2. In which circumstances are an instance necessary?

3. What are the limitations on the number of instances that one can create?

4. Is it the best practice to create a space and an instance while setting up the IRPA to begin with?

5. If we did not create an instance during the initial setup, what are the best practices to address this situation if a service key is needed at a later stage?

you subscribe to a service and you need to setup an instance of that service to be able to use it.

2. In which circumstances are an instance necessary?

When you need to create API Triggers ,you would require Service Key.

3. What are the limitations on the number of instances that one can create?

You can create one instance for one account

4. Is it the best practice to create a space and an instance while setting up the IRPA to begin with?
