Hi Experts,

I am new in SAP GUI Scripting. I want to know whether it's possible to start GUI script recording as soon as user logged in or start new session ?

You can't. As SAP GUI Scripting is part of a script, at the beginning of this script you may use some non-SAP-GUI-Scripting API to start SAP GUI (followed by the rest of the script which executes some methods of SAP GUI Scripting API).

To start SAP GUI from a VBS script, search the web:

GetObject("SAPGUI") CreateObject("SAPGUI")

Which class / method / FM, SAP use when it start gui recording from Script recording and Playback button. Can we call this option from ABAP or standard setting so recording start automatically whenever user logged in or create new session.

Sorry, I forgot to answer your second question about starting the recording. Yes you can:

yourGuiSession.Record = true

Hello nileshpandey,

the SAP GUI Scripting works completely on the frontend server, no class, method or FM on the backend side is used. The SAP frontend Windows Scripting Engine (SAPFEWSE) uses the event Change of the GuiSession class to record the activities of an user. You can find an easy example of a recorder here.
