SAP GUI Scripting API no sapfewse.ocx

Hello,

after looking into automating sap to extract alist of specific available parts in my inventory using MB52.

i found out i'm not authorized,

i wanted to auomate the gui to try and do this using gui automation:

in excel references i have like 50 server automation libraries for SAP including alot of classes starting with SAPGUI

but the only reference referred to in all tutorials "SAP GUI Scripting API " file name " sapfewse.ocx" is not available.

considering that i dont have access to RZ11 too, what are my limits in automating SAP from my excel vba code?

Hello

1) First of all, try to check with your administrator if the scripting part is already installed, (because, they could intstall SAP front end without adding the GuiScripting option)

2) After that, your Admin (which has access to RZ11) can activate the scripting for your SAP session by the transaction RZ11

3) And in your Excel references, you could add "sapfewse.ocx" by seraching it into the file of the installation of SAPGUI,

on my computer is no "sapfewse.ocx".

Is there mybe another name in an newer SAP-Version?
