MS announced in 2023 that it is in the process of deprecating VBScript (see: Deprecated features in the Windows client | Microsoft Learn). SAP GUI Scripting uses and makes calls to MS VBScript that will no longer be included in Windows OS sometime around 2027 (see MS Tech Community Blog: VBScript deprecation: Timelines and next steps | Windows IT Pro Blog). What is SAP doing to ensure all the SAP GUI Scripts that have been created will continue to work?
I've been tasked with creating some new SAP GUI Scripts and worried that they are a dead end.
