SAP Gui not working after patch update

Dear experts,

We are facing some issue at SAP GUi. In our organization maximum Computer is having SAP Gui 740. Now we are planning to update the patch level 0 to 8. Some computers it is working fine. But at some computers after upgrading the patch, the SAP logon pad is not working. It is showing below error.

But if we go back to patch level 0 then it works fine. How to fix the issue can anybody help me. All the exe and dll files are exist at the desired location. This problem we are facing into some computers only.

Hi,

If it doesn't work only on some terminals, then the issue might be from the configuration of computer supporting SAPGUI 740 or some security settings. Could you check whether the affected systems meet the required configuration for this installation. If so, I would like to suggest you to completely uninstall and install 740 and apply patch 8 in one of the affected system with administrator privilege to see it works again.

I think SAPGUI sp not applied completely . you can try to apply the SAPGUI sp one more time with administrator or equivalent user id
