SAP Fiori Tools - Application Generator on Visual Studio Code

Hi Everyone,

I try to follow this tutorial: https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/fiori-tools-generate-project.html for generate a new SAP Fiori app project on Visual Studio Code.

In the Step 3: Configure service for List Report Object Page, I can not go next step for the follow error.

Error:A connection error occurred, please ensure the target host is available on the network: "http code: 407"

This is probably due to the proxy setting.

But I've already input proxy authentication when launch Visual Studio Code.

Hello guys - I will test the Step 3 of this topic but, damn - how to pass the Step 2?

I've installed SAP Fiori tools - extension pack , went to Command Palette and launch Fiori: Open Application Generator

- nothing happend, the new window didn't appear.

How to pass this step - is this any wrong settings inside of VSCode?

Thank you for your reply.

When "Window: Enable Experimental Proxy Login Dialog" in Proxy Setting is false,

I saw pop up screen for proxy authentication.

When I tried that "Http: Proxy" in VS is included ID/PW,

the error message has changed.

So I cannot proceed to the next step.

I think you have a problem with your proxy. When I try it I get the credential form :

When you launch the URL in the browser, do you have the credential popup which appear ?

Yes. I have popup which appear.

Does Application Generator need its own proxy settings apart from the VS proxy settings?

In VSCode, play with the property Proxy :

Thank you.

The property "Proxy" has already been set.

I can also install VS extensions. I think the proxy settings are working fine.

However, the Application Generator still shows the error.

Hi Joseph, I would like kindly ask you how to open Appication Generator in VSCode.

As you can see below on my last post I can't get the Step 2 from "Set Up and Generate a New SAP Fiori App Project"

Can you give any tip?
