Hi All,

I am currently experiencing an issue with the implementation of the SAP Fiori Leave Request Approval App, whereby it throws the following error:

The Network log from the browser is as follows:

I have looked at the other threads on this similar issue involving TASKPROCESSING, IWPGW and ConsumerScenrioCollection; and can confirm that these notes 1850312 and 1821503 do not apply to our system. Any ideas?

I thank you in advance and look forward to your responses.

Kind Regards,

Nilesh

Hi Nilesh,

You have to apply mandatory notes mentioned in the install guide.

What is the note status in the SNOTE transaction?

Hi Masa,

Once again, thank you for assisting 🙂

I have checked and implemented all the prerequisite notes as mentioned in the guide, however, i still get the exact same error.

Any other ideas?

Hi Nilesh,

Please check the system alias definition and the system alias assignment to the taskprocessing service.

Hi Nilesh,

You can set an external break points and do troubleshooting.

Hi,

Just an update, i will keep this discussion opened for now, as we have back-end workflow and config issues, which were discovered by using the debugging methods indicated in Masa's guide. Concurrently, we have a call opened with SAP to further investigate and pin point our exact issue.

Stay tuned.

Nilesh

Hi All,

This issue is now resolved.

I used a standard leave request workflow task id in my config and ultimately resolved the issue by using a fully qualified host name. Weird one!

thank you masa for your assistance.

Hi Masa,

Thanks again, however, i did actually spend a few days running through the relevant notes for this scenario and actually did cover some of those that you mentioned. Its good to confirm that i was on the right track with the issue debugging process. 🙂

Hi Nilesh,

where did you actually maintain the workflow task id to be used for the app?

Hello Wolfgang,

the workflow task id is maintained at the following location:

SPRO> SAP NetWeaver> Gateway Service Enablement> Content> Task Gateway Service> Scenario Definition > Execute > Highlight your scenario > Click on Task Definition for Scenario > You can maintain your Workflow Task ID under "Task Type".

I hope this helps.

Hi Nilesh,

the path you've mentioned is the path for the general "Approve request" app. Is it the same for the "Leave Request Approval App"? Because in this path you can maintain more than one task ID. How do you connect the "Leave Request Approval" App with one of these entries?`

Hi,

Yes it is. All Approval scenarios of any kind are configured in that location.

Hi Nilesh,

could you paste me a screenshot of the entry? Did you have to change parameters of the app in the launchpad admin role as well?

Regards Wolfgang
