SAP ECC Data quality tool

Hi All,

We have ECC 6.0 EHP7 system which is running on Oracle11.2.0.1 and HP-Unix database.

We need to perform Data Quality analysis and data cleansing activity in our system and we are looking approach of this activity.

Primary Area for data cleansing activities are Finance,SO,PO,Vendor,Customer,Material.

Do we have standard SAP Transactions which can help to extract the data, analyze the quality and correct/upload the cleaned data.

Or we need to use some SAP tool for extracting the data and upload it back to SAP ECC system after cleansing.

Please suggest and provide your input.

Hi Shivam,

I would suggest looking at the the Data Quality Management for SAP product to see if it would meet your business requirements.

From the DQM for SAP User's Guide:

SAP Data Quality Management version for SAP Solutions (DQM for SAP) provides a prepackaged native integration of data quality best practices within the SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP), and SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG) environments. When you enter a new customer, supplier, or partner record using SAP ERP, SAP CRM, or SAP MDG , DQM for SAP software corrects and/or validates the address based on referential data sources, and formats the address according to norms of the applicable country. DQM for SAP also helps prevent duplicate entities entering your SAP ERP, CRM, and MDG applications, and helps search and improve your existing data.
