SAP CPI JDBC Adapter Encoding issues

Hi all,

we have a strange issue with SAP CPIs JDBC adapter and SAP CP HANA Service.
We insert the following XML

The result of the JDBC adapter is

he German umlaut, as ell as Spanish, French, etc., are getting transformed into "?". However, if I insert it directly via HANA WebUI or SquirrelSQL, I don't have these issues.

I also tried to set the iflow by hard to UTF-8 (as explained here: https://blogs.sap.com/2019/11/05/solving-special-character-issue-while-sending-data-to-receiver-syst...)

Any ideas on how we could fix this?
