SAP Connectors

Hi Folks,

I am an ABAPer, new to BI, Can anyone help me figure out, what exactly these below components do. I understand that these are SAP Connectors which allows the integration of different applications and technologies with SAP Systems via open standards.

Do they help us in Data extraction and How? how to create a new SAP standard extractor like RS02, Does SAP give any provision to do so?

SAP .NET Connector

SAP Java Connector

SAP DCOM Connector

SAP Business Connector

RFC Library
