SAP BW process chain

Hi SAP BW experts,

Advance thanks for your help.

I have problem in the process chain at middle level please find below screen for your reference.

it is in recolor.

I have put the cursor at the vendor REDCOLOUR , right click and click the display variant.

need your help to resolved the below chain issue.

Please find the display variant and the error stack.

I have remove the special characters from the records and saved and executed.

Hi Sanjeeve,

You can create Error DTP and load the data to 0vendor. Please refer below blog on how to use Error DTP.

I have corrected the records at Error Stack and executed. Again the chain is failed.

when I checked at Error Stack same records appear.

Hi Sanjeev ,

Here are my thoughts

1.First Understand what is causing the frequent data load failure issues in SAP BW at DTP level . What is causing it ? Is it becuase of bad data or some other reasons .

2.If you get fewer number of records data problem you can use Error DTP option as Pradeep suggested so whenver the similar issue comes data can be corrected in error stack and can be loaded problem can be solved .

3.But if you are experiencing the same problem with huge amount of data this has to be taken into the notice to SAP ECC team .

Note : Just keeping one thing in mind that there could be multiple reasons which causes data load failures at DTP level ,Always may not be bad data issues which causes .

Hi Sanjeev,

First of all "Automatically repeat red requests " option has to be disabled . Because you never know what is causing a data load failure at DTP level and every time reapeat wont work . its simply repeats the process step and causes inconsistencies .

Its just my thought .Inputs will be apprecieated .

I have disable the 'Automatically repeat red requests' and remove the special characters from the error stack .

executed, after that I have repair the chain but the chain in running status.

Note: suggest me any step missed.
