SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence Input Control Error

Trying to run query on a document in SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence and receiving error "There are no input controls defined in this document. To define one, change to Design mode." under Document Input Controls and "There are no input controls defined in this report. To define a new one, switch to Design mode." under Report Input Controls.

Other colleagues trying to access the same report are able to run queries and edit them. Anyone know what would be the problem?

Steps followed:

Navigate to BI Launchpad --> Documents --> "Modify" document

If you don't see an option to go to Design Mode on top right, it means you don' have privilege to do so, talk to the BO Admin to change your Access Level, so you're able to modify reports if needed.

Hi Nitesh,

Don't click on the Reading Mode, because you can't create Input Controls in Reading Mode, you can do that in Design Mode only.

Hi Mahboob, thank you for the response but I am aware of that and there is no option to click on Reading mode or change to Design Mode.
