SAP BODS SQL Transform Difference between ODBC and Adapter Configuration

Hi,

I have an SQL transform query, when I have tried to compare the central repository object to the local, there are difference in the Adapter while for ODBC the SQL code is the same. While on Adapter, the SQL code has difference between the central and local. I'm not sure what's the difference between the two. What would be the equivalent SQL configuration (ODBC or Adapter) for a code written in SQL transform?
