At times we get into a situation where things seems to be strange. I would like to share one of such situation with respect to SAP BTP Business Application Studio(BAS) login to Cloud Foundry(CF) for one of the subaccount API endpoint.
Error Authentication failed. Please try again
First thing is to validate if you are using right:
- Cloud Foundry API endpoint
- Credentials or SSO
- Authentication method: 1) Credentials 2) SSO. If SSO then do verify either with a) Default identity provider or b) Alternate identity provider( configured by your enterprise)
If all above are all verified then do check Dev Space on BAS is running out of memory. I did create a new Dev space and CF login was resolved.
There is a SAP note # 3533620 CF CLI in SAP Business Application Studio fails with error
"Error read/writing config: invalid character '\x00' looking for beginning of value" , however did not try it out.
