Can I display data from an ABAP report on my WordPress website?

A table of data generated by running an ABAP Report, which can be displayed on a WordPress website. Synchronous or asynchronous web services either will do.

Will I be needing an external(outside the SAP system) local database to store and retrieve for WordPress or can I directly pass the data.
