SAP Analytics Cloud - Formula Error: Function not allowed as a top level function in Modeler Formula

Above is the error I encountered while adding formulas on one of my account measure in my model. My original formula is: TONUMBER( VAR_PY ).

VAR_PY is a date variable that lets the user choose a date period (in format of YYYYMM).

What does the error means? Thank you!

Hi Denisse,

Did you try this on a copy of the account measure? What happens if you try the same in a story by creating a calculated measure?

Yes, I tried this on the account measure on the modeler. Thanks for the suggestion, I also tried this on the story itself and I noticed that the function works. I think the function only works on the story and not on the modeler. I'll close this thread now. Thanks.
