SAP Analytics Cloud - Data Access Control - New Member

Dear Experts,

we enables Data Access Control on Customer dimension. However, when a User with restricted access on specific customers, select "New Member" functionality, it is possible to choose all Customers.

We would like to let the User create New Members, but want to restrict the access for the existing ones.

Dear Giulia,

When it comes to adding new data rows, the conventional method is to right-click and select "Add new member." However, I suggest creating a Data Action that will walk the User through the process of adding new Members.

This Data Action will prompt the User to enter the "Customer" parameter. By doing so, you can ensure that the User only views the elements for which they have permission.
