SAP Analytics Cloud - Blending Planning Model and Live Data Model - Date dimension issue

Hi Experts,

we are trying to link a Classing Planning Model and a Live Data Model in order to compare Budget VS Actual data.

However we are facing an issue when linking Date dimension. The Date dimension of the Planning Model is the standard one of the planning models.

What are we missing?

This happens when you live connection (model), time field doesn't convert to date/time hierarchy in SAC. Chances are your live model may not let you perform date/time operations independently as well.

For live connection, usually fix need to be implemented in source itself. Here are couple of KBA's based on your source.

We are working with queries created in HANA CLOUD, the first note you shared refers to HANA Studio so, unfortunately, it is not applicable to our situation.

Have you ever experienced this issue on HANA CLOUD?

Thanks for confirming source system. Check if you are using Start join on HANA Cloud side. This is a requirement.
